My dig partner and I got an invite from a fellow local digger for a privy dig over the weekend. We started at 7 am and at 8 pm put the last bit of dirt back in. 16 feet is deep for our area with most pits going about 4 to 12 foot.
My dig partner and i got into our first privy of the year. The house was built in 1858 and was owned by Milo Blair owner of the Boonville Eagle and then by John Cosgrove a member of the U.S House of Represenatives. Heres a pic of the house l had to get it off the net cause i forgot to take one.
Was at caseys awhile back and recieved a wheat penny in my change, I noticed an old looking penny roll on top of the register so i asked " hey do you have anymore that look like this?" guess somebody got ahold of grandpas coin collection. nothing great but a pretty cool start of a day
Ive been lurking for awhile because my camera broke awhile back but my wife gave me a new one for Christmas. I really like the new camera but havent figured out all the fancy features yet, anyways heres a few recent dig finds from a undesclosed location we are still working on
