    Flomaton, AL Cold Shot

Finally found a whole one. Turns out that the good Dr. had his own soda thing going for a few years in Flomaton. Wonder what was in it, and what it tasted like??? It's a root bottle with the date code of 1927.

    Houston, Miss straight side Coca-Cola

Here's one I found a couple weeks back, and it's a heart breaker. Didn't even know there was a Houston, Mississippi.

    L.G. Mayo

Here's another head scratcher for me. L.G. should be for Laurens Glass works, but the Mayo? There was a Mayo drug store in the Brewton, AL area and a Lawrence Mayo that died in 1930. Maybe that's a reach, but I've searched all around for another bottle like this and have come up with nothing...

    Cold Shot

Picked up 2 of these this weekend, and I've never seen one before. Says... Cold Shot, Manufactured By DR. Louis Thomas, Flomaton, ALA. It's a Root bottle with a '27 date on it. The local historical society has nothing on Dr. Thomas, so I'm going to hit the archives and see what I can come...

    Graveyard Coca-Cola's

Found this little cemetery by word of mouth in a waaaaayyyy out of the way community in lower Alabama. Three marked adult graves, and 2 unmarked child graves completely surrounded with mostly Pat D bottles, but with some '23's, and maybe a 1915 or two mixed in. I'll keep the exact location...

    Flomaton AL Pepsi

Anyone know what the scarcity of this one is? This is the first whole one I've layed my hands on. There's a chero-cola with the same script from Flomaton too. Thanks, Ian

    Coca Cola bottle makers

Found me another straight side coke bottle with etched markings 18 and LP before and after the Property of Coca Cola Bottling Co on the bottom. I've had 3 of the same bottle, a straight side Brewton, ALA, but have never seen these markings. As a matter of fact all 3 have unique...

    Face Jug

About pulled my arm out of joint trying to get to what I thought was a whiskey jug buried under about 30 years of detritus. First thought was... damn that's ugly. Second was it'll look cool cleaned up. Threw this one on the bay too. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250558612418

Jones Mill, ALA straight side Coca Cola

New member, long time collector here. Here's one that I found in my top secret bottle spot. Threw it on ebay thinking I might get 2 or 3 hundred out of it. I knew it was rare, but just not how... it went for $1326.99! Probably should have kept it.
