A great place to see and sell insulators is Pole Top Discoveries. I believe it’s an Ohio based outfit. I once bought an ink on their auction site but insulators are their real forte. The folks there are also a great resource for identifying your insulators.
Picked this up at a show today. Marked at $20.00, I traded a cracked hutch from New Orleans for it. Both the dealer and I were skeptical on real age and use. It’s 5 1/2”H, is pretty thin glass, and will fit in my hand. It is as crude as it gets. The mouth looks like the slot or opening was...
I do a lot of open water diving. If you had trouble with clearing at 10’, it was not the system issue. Might have been a temporary thing (ear or sinus problem) or no proper instruction on clearing procedures. That’s one of the many things SCUBA certification helps with. I suggest anyone using a...

You do have to be careful on eBay. If you go there and search for...
Nice job on the reproductions! Here’s a small real one which I can’t date as was a surface find with no context.
I also have included a few pictures of the effigy pot in the background. There is an ongoing discussion as to what creature it depicts. I’ll include our guesses after a few of you...
A few comments are in order here. After spending time with this community for a bit, I find this site, friendly, informative, helpful, and full of people who want to share their love of collecting and help others with the same enthusiasm.
A better quote describing the mixed feelings of the...
