He had it wrapped in several layers of bubble wrap so it must have taken a real beating. Employees probably spent the whole week playing hot potato with it.
Brand new hutch bottle from @logan.the.collector
GEO Jones, Fonda N.Y. Hutchinson, (was) in mint condition. After spending almost a whole week in some USPS facility in Massachusetts (not within shipping route...), I opened the package to this!
Logan had it insured and was able to refund me...
Mexico was in constant civil war from 1910 up until the mid 1930's. So I can't imagine that Coca-Cola was operating there around that time. I talked to my dad the other day, he said he recalls drinking embossed bottles in the 60's.
Canada has some interesting Coke varieties. I have seen...
That makes a lot of sense. What I notice is that most stores have a wide variety of towns, a lot of them being in surrounded states like Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, etc. I have seen straight side cokes from different cities in Canada. Makes me wonder if there are any for Mexico.
Thank you...
Hello everyone,
The other day I decided to go to an antique store about 25 min away from me. Most antique shops in my area tend to rarely have coke bottles and when they do they're almost always overpriced. Guess I got lucky this time.
This is also the first store I come across that actually...
Actually after looking up the history of these bottles I am pretty confident that it was a flavor bottle. Teampins (main reference for GA Coke bottles) does have them listed as Coke bottles though.
Conyers does have normal shoulder script Cokes too, and supposedly they are extremely common...
Hello everyone,
Today this local bottle came in the mail. Even though I technically live in McDonough GA, I still consider Conyers local as I live right on the border of the two towns.
This Coke bottle has the look of a traditional shoulder script straight side, but the lettering is...
Makes sense. Not sure where I will go once college is over but hopefully to a town that actually has bottles lol. Will be weird not seeing you hoard Tupper bottles though.
That would be cool to see you get your own place. Figure you'll still be in Tupper by then? It would be awesome to go digging with you and Matt and Jack too if he'd be willing.
Hello Everyone,
The other day I decided to buy some straight side cokes that come from closer to home. Since my town didn't make Coke bottles I consider basically anything from GA to be local.
First is this really cool Augusta, GA straight side bottle with ring top.
I picked it out because...
Yeah I'm happy that it's on the back side so it's basically unnoticeable. Would be cool to have a small crate of straight sides. Would love to get a hutch too since there are some from my area if only they weren't so expensive.
