Found my first local hutch! Early production WM Clark short Hutch. Saw it peeking out of the creek bed with its heel, and wasn't prepared for it to be intact, save for the slightly sheered top. Second Hutch in my collection.
Howdy! I believe i have found a soda bottlers dump, or someone just REALLY liked Nehi's.
I found a spot along a creek that has bottles and glass just pouring out of the side, mixed with lots of old household trash and old corroded metal. I have found probably 2 dozen Nehi bottles, and hundreds...
Found my first Hutch yesterday, and it was a good one! A very good condition Syd Delamar Bottler - Henderson Texas 10 panel base. Found it lying in a creek where I had found an error "Rush" (Rusk) Bottling works circle slug crowntop. Also found a mint Christmas Coke, and an Uncle Jo In Brown...
Went back to a dump site I found about a month ago. Dug some more great hard to find local pieces.
L-R: Dr. Pepper Bottling Works from Livingston Texas, 9oz Nehi, unknown 7oz 3Rivers with “203” on the bottom, 7oz Nehi, and a “California” 3 Rivers bottle. Found a bunch of other misc meds and...
Walked a new small creek that I haven’t been in before in my town with my buddy Charlie today. Some great finds! The amber one is a “Milks Emulsion” which I haven’t seen before. The whiskey flask, soda water, and jug tops are the coolest

Walked the creek tonight with my dad, after a big rain storm we had that churned the bottom really good. Got more coming this week, so hopefully it’ll churn more! Nothing amazing, but it was fun spending time with my dad and finding some whole ones that aren’t rashed!

1930s embossed squatty amber 7Up, top of a hutch, and half an oyster shell. Found the oyster shell on the bank of the creek that went next to this hotel/saloon/brothel that was closed in 1912.

Ball Perfect Mason #7, 1910s-20s
Super stoked about the Reid and the Mason, as I’ve been...
Pretty self explanatory, how do you go about getting landowner permission to walk a small creek that doesnt classify as a navigable waterway? There are some small creeks in my town that I want to walk, but they run through or are near houses. Thanks! I am in Texas BTW.
Found my first turn of the century glass last week. Decided to make it useful again. Pre 1910 Busch beer bottle, filled with Busch beer again.

Pulled these out of a partial dump yesterday on a creek bank. Most stuff seemed 1910s-50s. These were a fun shape and will make good vases. Are these salad dressings?

Duh this today along a creek. Found a dump with lots of Nehi’s, meds, and milk glass. From what I can find online these are fairly rare. Crescent Bottling Works bottle from Woodville Texas.

Found this on a creek bank today. Seems to be a soda. Maybe 50s? Would love to see what the original label looked like

Found this tonight in an odd spot on the creek that I believe was a well or dump. Bottle in question is the bottom left one. This was also my first time finding a complete aqua colored, blown in a mold bottle.
I’m finding stuff online that says mid to late 1800s. Anyone have input?

Howdy! Glad to be a part of this community. My dad and I used to go creek walking when I was little, and found a good amount of bottles. I live in Nacogdoches, and have forever. I have recently taken up the hobby again, but utilizing GIS maps and whatnot. I would love to dig older sites or walk...
