Did a lot of digging when I lived in California. Thought I’d share. Read an old thread from here- 2011- about a franchise bottler in Kern County who was sued by Coca Cola in 1925. Haven’t found a photo of this particular bottle, but interesting story that I could only find here on antique bottles!
Haven’t been on in a long time. Was back in the eastern Sierras at one of my favorite sites by an old mining site, and uncovered this. Rinsed it out and off (some bugs stayed around) anyone know its age and history possibly? Thanks!
Just looking for a possible year if any one knows. I stumbled upon a treasure trove of all different sizes and colors, a lot had remains still in the cups. I was hunting around an old closed mine. Will share more pics if anyone is interested.
I know this is a ginger beer bottle. I’ve looked at a lot of bottles and this mark is not on any of them. Perhaps this mark is the makers thumbprint, when he put it in to glaze? Interesting I think. Does it devalue the bottle of make it one of a kind?
