    Thanks! Based on the responses thus far seems like vinegar or maybe maple syrup. Does the fact that it isn’t a screw top reveal anything about the possible age?

    There are numbers, but are difficult to decipher. Hopefully they will become more visible after we are able to clean them up.

    Thanks! They are relatively thick if that matters. We found a few other bottles (and artifacts) nearby that were screw tops. A couple had interesting designs.

    Thanks for responding! The seam does go all the way to the top. We found 4 of these bottles and they are ~8” tall.
