I picked up this little 7oz bottle back in late Nov. last year, Now my collection of USA bottles is pretty limited but I just could not leave it at the antique store...besides Huskies are Cool! Anyone know this company?...Owen's glass mark, dated 1945....geesh that's 70 years now fellows! [attachment=2015-02-20 00.20.19_resized.jpg][attachment=2015-02-20 00.19.20_resized.jpg]

Pretty cool bottle. It is actually Marysville Washington. I guess that was an older abbreviation of that state. Didn't find much else yet on the company though. There are some on ebay also.

Ohhh Washington , thanks...that makes sense now because I'm in British Columbia just across the border, I was trying to figure out how this one made it's way up here.

Interesting to see the red variation, You would almost think mine missed the red?So I was looking on Wik. and it shows a chart for state abbreviations and apparently WN was used by the United States Coast Guard?....that seems weird, or maybe that was a common thing back in the 40's.Some of the charts don't even show WN at all but rather Wash. up to 1963.

there is also a husky beverages bottle from Kirkland lake Ontario actually a couple different ones some embossed and is an acl bottle as well I can recall seeing . its odd they used exactly the same name of husky beverages although at first they called it dominion beverages but eventually its called husky later on.

I nearly picked one up from a town near me. They usually are common as I later discovered upon researching it. Lovely bottle in any event.

Yes I kind of figured they were common after posting...I only paid 4 bucks for mine so no worries.
