American Glass

Just got my first copy of " American Glass" by George and Helen McKearin.All I can say is Wow!I`m sure many of you have this book.I picked it up on ebay for $6.00 plus $8.00 shipping.Theres no Dust cover, but I can make one out of paper bags and write Led Zeppelin on it.[]I can see I`ll be using this book often.Very informative.I`ll post a couple pics for those who don`t have it YET.

Since i Still have yet to get the glass Bible..Do you know if the GIV-7 sandwich arch and fern decanter and its variants are listed?....sorry to bug you =)

I hope this helps Eric.there ia a paragraph in the book and a couple illustrations of the GIV-7.

It helps me in knowing that Bourbon isnt Listed = ) at least in their book..and honestly where else would it be?..

The curator of the sandwich Glass Museum Should Be giving Me a Ring back. Within a few days.i will post her take on it on the thread I made for it

I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO GET AN OLDER EDITION FROM OUR LIBRARY WHEN THEY WERE GETTING RID OF SOME OLDER SELDOM USED BOOKS. GOT IT FOR A QUARTER! YEP IT IS A MUST BOOK FOR FLASKS AND LEARNING ABOUT EARLY GLASS HOUSES. GLAD YOU GOT ONE! JAMIE
