Thanks Jim. I would love to find one of the olive bottles. I had to unpack 14 drums of mercury compounds to find two of those, the other I found awhile ago.
Do you remember that huge K-9 Parke Davis? The guy who bought it from me has it for sale. If you want his email, let me know.
Here's a few examples of bottles being reused. Probably praticed even more here in Canada than the States. Two good examples of U.S. bottles being recycled by us cheap Kanucks [;)] One Doyles bitters refilled as castor oil and a Dr. Hayden's used for formaldehyde.
If your still looking I found these tonight at work http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=ADME:L:LCA:US:11&item=270067773444 5 cent listing on eBay for Canadians today so I threw them up for grabs.

Well I have decided to stick to collecting one make of bottle. Northrop / Lyman, a Canadian manufacturer so if anyone has any for trade or sale let me know. The only N/L bottle I am not interested in is the Dr. Thomas Eclectric Oil, anything else I would be open to trade or buy.
Thanks
Kev

Working at a chemical recycle facility I get to try cleaning glass with just about every chemical know to man. Since we do Waste Day collection, I find a lot of jars and bottles filled with paint. Although you might think paint should clean up pretty easy sometimes its a real pain in the @ss to...
