Whitney Stopper Bottle?

I googled the bottle and only found one mention of this particular bottle in a delmarva auction. They listed one without the stopper and they say it is American.

Birmingham Bottle Dealers?

A Bargain.....

Hey Glassman-I'm a notary, maybe you and I can form a partnership and sell "historical" bottles on ebay.[;)] Maybe a good one would be Lincoln used this pepper bottle while working on the Gettysburg Address or Shards of glass from the distillery owned by Thomas Jefferson, etc...We could strike...

A Bargain.....

That has to be a mistype, I hope. Do you think that some of these ebayers have so much stuff to sell that they enter it in too fast and don't bother checking? I don't do ebay, so I wouldn't have the foggiest.

Birmingham AL Bottle Show July 25-26

It was a good show, I was kind of hoping to get more deco bottles, but I was able to fill some spaces. The book I bought from Dennis (Celery Cola) was very helpful-saved me a lot of trips to the library. I wish I could have taken pictures but I broke the camera earlier.

Alabama hutches & blobs

I would back away from the Alabama Bottling Works bottle. I bought mine for $10.00 in dug condition and have seen others in better (pristine) condition at the bottle show here for $40.00-up. I mainly collect B'ham bottles so I can't help you with the coastal ones. I wish I had some some spare...
