This is the first bottle I've bought in a very long time. It was only a couple bucks in a thrift store. It has no seams. Was this a liquor bottle? Any ideas on age? It's got a few seed bubbles and is pretty irregular in shape.
I wonder if the fact that glass is actually a liquid has anything to do with it? I might actually weep like a little girl if I worked all day to dig them out and they cracked in the sun!
Also, this farmer may have had a crop duster at some point. It's a flightline fire extinguisher. Maybe it was in case of him dusting his plane instead of the crops.
Hey Gang,
I have some friends who have a house on the coast of Washington State. It sounds like a great dig spot. Built in 1885, it had the bathroom added later. They are totally cool with me coming down and digging up any trash dumps or outhouses. They say the yard has been ravaged by...
Drugstores and Apothecaries back then were, believe it or not, pretty scientific places. They had scales sensetive enough to measure grains, minims (1/480th of a fl.oz) and drams. All of the poisons that I have that are hand written have big warning stickers all over them. Opium is one of...

Hey Everyone,
Personally, I remember "Dippity Doo" as being like a bubbly blue goo. I never used it but my neighbor did. When I was in highschool, glue, aka, "mousse," was popular. I had long hair though and mostly didn't use anything. These weird hair products are the reason lace...
It's tough to photograph the embossing on a bottle. It's hard to get the light right. I find it's easier to just take a rubbing of the embossing. Comes out really crisp and readable. Just a thought. It's an awesome bottle.

I want a B-52!! Actually, with gas prices what they are I might have to settle for a Black Widow or a Mosquito (only two engines). Thanks for the info about this thing being Thai. I hope that it wasn't stolen from anywhere. That's a pet peeve of mine when they go to places like Angkor Watt...
Thanks Rick. I'm maybe going to try to post some better sized, better focus pics because the amount of detail is pretty mystifying. Someone spent a LOT of time.
