Hi, sorry for disappearing for a couple years, guys. (I'm the OP for this thread.)
Here are photos of the base. One mark appears to be a "2" or a "5" and the other is very faint, but MAY be a triangle? The base isn't "worn" but is still fairly illegible, as if it's poor quality or something.
That does make sense, Jamie. Do you think there would have been some kind of attachment with the needle piece that would allow for drawing and injecting? Because with the bottle being glass, it cannot be squeezed to move liquid in/out.
Thanks for your replies. I'm hoping someone will find this thread who can at least help me to know WHAT to search the web for, in order to find info! Image searches for things like "tiny striped perfume bottle" with variations of "Hollywood laboratories Toronto" haven't turned up anything...
Found this today about 18" deep amongst a pile of old cans and ketchup bottles. Can't find any info about this particular "make". I wonder if this helped to power a tractor or something!
Found this just barely poking out of the surface, about 6' from a sidewalk in some bushes. The company is "Van Bros Ltd" which I have learned operated out of Vancouver BC in the 1930s. On the reverse is an image of two distinctive peaks seen from the city - The Lions.

I found this today in a dump site that has a mix of Victorian trash and 40s/50s trash (the latter was bulldozed onto the former). I assume this tiny glass bottle is from the 40s/50s.
