    Hello Dewfus, I seen your post on the thread "Anyone digging in Indiana?" would you be willing to allow me to tag along on one of your digs? I am a newbie and would like to see someone dig up an actual bottle. I haven't had any luck recovering anything too old. The dump my husband and I have been allowed to root around in, is suppose to be a layer between pioneer days and the 60's.

    I looked up South Bend on some old insurance maps and I am amazed at how big the place was even back then! We live in a ghost town (Westfall, Oregon) and have a large town dump which was bulldozed. We have permission from several farms to root around but again dump sites are shallow, spread out or bulldozed. I know there is a bottle out there somewhere for this curious digger.
