i read that those decolorized with selenium turn amber,so they need to be pre-war bottles? i recently saw mason's bidding at $8ish,but sure enuf,that darn amethyst one topped 20 with 17 bids.i see it as kind of a rip,but americans will buy anything.a bottle of water?
the scipt changed on the jars,did they also make matching lids?i never payed much attention but want to get some for those that are missing and so far they all seem to be the same.also,do balll and 'perfect' take the same lid?
painted labels would've phased this out by '40.i believe there was also one more embossed version after this with just the clock.despite it being a much older bottle,$10 is probably the high side.a number on the bottom to the right should date it 4 you(if it has one)
i remember delivered milk AND the fruit drink.not sure if we got borden's.sealtest maybe.i think it all makes sense except the date.'25 seems early to me too,but that's opinion.probably 'the' borden's though in a milk container.
