Here is a nice little uncleaned Sanford's ink bottle and base. On the four sides of the base it says " Sanford's Foutain Pens Ink " The metal cap says "Sanford's Ink" The bottle was originally glued in with plaster paris back in the day. I do not know when this was in use.

I almost always stayed away from bottles that had any type of threads for the cap. But once in awhile, a bottle comes along that is not real old and it just sings to you.... *sigh*
