    Tampa Coke

I just saw a Tampa FLA S-S bottle and I was wondering what would be a fair price to pay. It was in a small shop that has lots of stuff, and I may make an offer on several bottles. First, is real, and 2nd what would be fair? There was a few other S-S there as well. Cheers, Merry Christmas, and...

What got you started in this hobby

Back in the early 1970's my family moved from a large city (state Capital) to a tiny small town (less than 600). Those first years I was incredibly bored out of my mind with absolutly nothing to do, cause girls were icky at that time, but that's another story. I had an array of dangerous country...

    Sanford's Ink a neat set

Here is a nice little uncleaned Sanford's ink bottle and base. On the four sides of the base it says " Sanford's Foutain Pens Ink " The metal cap says "Sanford's Ink" The bottle was originally glued in with plaster paris back in the day. I do not know when this was in use.

While I agree that paypal has some faults, it is well worth all the hassles that come with using this kind of medium for transactions. Instant monies, so I can ship the items right away is so much better than waiting a week for the M.O. or check, then trundeling down to the bank to make sure it...

Stilll looking for Texas embossed meds

I once had a Morley Bros Druggists large, dark amber. I wonder if the owner is a member of this forum. Sold back in the 1990s I think.

Some of my favorite Bottles I own

I have owned this one for quite some time. In the early days of research, this was referred to as a "Womans Suffrage bottle, or a Carrie Nation Bottle" and was so listed in several books. Now in the day of the moderen intranet, I can find an example of this bottle on display at the Brooklyn...

    Orange Bitters

I almost always stayed away from bottles that had any type of threads for the cap. But once in awhile, a bottle comes along that is not real old and it just sings to you.... *sigh* I would guess from the late 1930's to the mid 1940's

A pair from decantor sets of Rye bottles, and a neat Equator. I did not show the perfumes, they are quite new.
