Will post pics of my finds tomorrow.Problem is.......people must have dug here before but not the right way.They went "willy-nilly" and made a mess.However, good news is,no one ever dug deep enuf to get the good stuff!! Lucky me!!

pottery

I save any pottery will interesting design or wording. Finding alot of jug tops and crock covers but still waiting to find a whole one. I use them as decorative "fillers" in my bottle collection.

I know this is a message from 2006 but just joined and wanted to add info. There is a record of Lakins hedake kolone in "The Pharmacutical Era" Vol. 31 with a ppublish date of 1904.Would seem it was some sort of smelling salts,as the others mentioned.
