Hi all!! I am new to this hobby but I am hooked!! I purchased a two car garage for our toys and it came with about ten acres of land,near railroad tracks.I have been digging it for about three weeks and finding some great bottles!
Who knew I bought an old town dump!! I am in my glory and decided this was the best place to get tips,find out what some of my bottles are, etc.Alot of flasks and medicine bottles.Seems to be (from what I already have) to be 1860's and up. Back at it tomorrow.There is a stream bed running thru that I found some pottery in. Not enuf hours in the day to dig!! See ya!!

Welcome to the forum. Lots of nice people here. First advice ...enjoy digging and do yourself justice and start the right way. Dig one section all the way down the the base. Congrats on have a dump to dig and have yourself some fun. These folks here love pics. So take a camera if ya can. Good luck and keep us posted.

Will post pics of my finds tomorrow.Problem is.......people must have dug here before but not the right way.They went "willy-nilly" and made a mess.However, good news is,no one ever dug deep enuf to get the good stuff!! Lucky me!!
