    Dating them from the cans they got put into the wall in the mid to late 50's. That was about when the coal mines here closed along with the depot and the town disappeared not long after.

    The ones with the X are Miller High Life, the others are Budweiser and Schlitz. There were quite a few Schlitz and Oertels bottles in there too. A lot of them were broke but I saved the ones that whole.

    how to date a lamp?

    The lamp is definately after 1900. When the automatic bottling machines started replacing blown bottles they replace the hand made lamps too.
