Can you please move my post/thread titled "Offering a free bottle to you" (or something like that) from the General Chat (about bottles) forum to the one for buying an trading. I am just offering it for free, but the post probably belongs in the latter forum. Thank you.

I see now there is a forum for selling (which I am not) and trading bottles (I don't want one in return or I will never empty this house). I assume now I should have posted this there. Can my post/thread be moved?

I am SLOWLY downsizing, preparatory to a move in a couple of years, and there is a LOT of stuff I want to move out of here, but am loathe to throw away if it is of interest to others. This is an inkpot I picked up at a house sale several years ago and I am happy to give it away for only the cost...

Ca. 1860’s(?) bottle is now new to a museum collection...

I realized I didn’t note that in my original post, so I edited it to add that I bought it at an estate sale a few years ago.

I was going to offer this bottle for free here when the museum turned down the donation offer, but they changed their mind and now it is in their collection. IIRC I researched it to the 1860’s... As it is no longer here I am sorry I cannot take a better photo for this post. I bought it at an...

Cosmetics Container?

It is difficult to see, but the patent number is 120421 and here is that patent image and an ad for a cream deodorant jar of that design.
