    Hey Bottleman, In answer to your question, the two ends are ground dead flat and and rough. What does this mean? Thanks, Martin

    Can anyone identify what this is and approx. date? It says "Seed Filter Co N.Y." on one side and "No 8 Pat." on the other. It is not a bottle as such, since it has a threaded finish on both ends, and so is open through-and-through. Thanks.
