I bought this huge bunch of bottle at a garage sale. Probably paid too much for them. If anything looks interesting (not that you can see much from the photo) please let me know and I'll post an individual photo of it..

Can anyone identify what this is and approx. date? It says "Seed Filter Co N.Y." on one side and "No 8 Pat." on the other. It is not a bottle as such, since it has a threaded finish on both ends, and so is open through-and-through. Thanks.
