gallon h/a jar

Good mornin everyone I still need to post my pics of my jars I got out of the barn. But, I'm here asking for help again. I found the old squarish gallon jar we used to churn butter in.(that was not fun) It's hazel atlas...has 5498 and 10 on the bottom. As stated before I know nothing...

Different mason jar

No ajohn, none of them were BPM's. Probably what I've found wouldn't be very interesting to any collectors. Most are blue or greenish color. I haven't located any of the stubbies yet. I'll have to go to my bro's house and see if he got them. He was over here a couple of weeks back and did...

OK. Let me clean em up and I'll post pics. they are pretty nasty right now...stored in the barn ucky....rodents, varmints, creepy crawlies and I don't even wanna think what else has been in them!

Different mason jar

My Mom used the stubby ones to can jelly and pickles to give as Christmas gifts. There is probably some around here in one of the cabinets I haven't gotten to yet. I have a bunch of the blue jars, pints and quarts I found in a box in the barn.

Tinna Speaking of not normal candle holders....I went to Bing and was looking around. A place called Antiques R Us has the neatest candle holder. It's a red Christmas tree with the branches frosted like snow. It's 1 sided and uses a votive to light up the tree. It's called Mikasa Winter...

Hi Tinna Here's a pic of the mark and the holder. I don't usually use 'normal' holders either, but when the power went down, I used whatever was left in the stores to use. Thing is, I think this one was already here in Mom & Dad's house, cause I don't buy the poured into the holder kind like...

Forney's Dairy Palmyra Pa pint milk

Hay Tinna While I have a gal's attention...do you burn many candles? And if so whenever you might get a chance, will you look at the bottom marks of the holder and see if there is a mark that is basically 3 lit candles side by side in an image of a candle holder.? The one I have is square'ish...

Well..I got deeper into Dad's closet and found more than pretty little empty whisky decanters. Actually I did find 4 more decanters with labels and some whisky left in them. But I also found some bottles Full and unopened. While looking up the pretty decanters on ebay to compare, I saw sells...

Thanks ancient! I know that website well! It's been my bible, since I started digging into Dad's basement, closets,barns,etc. This one just got me because it's stamped in a different direction from the rest of the numbers on the bottle, so I just wasn't sure about which way to read it. Now...
