Some the jar lips are "Squared Off", while others are "Beveled", or "Tapered". We noted that difference ourselves.- Rick & Carrie

Possible tobacco jars.
We found these a few weeks ago and thought them to be pill bottles. While cleaning some usable vintage lids from the same dig, we recovered a lid with a partial logo that appears to be a tobacco advertisement, and perfectly fits one of the amber jars. The Acid/Clorox Method of removing metallic stains from Glass and Plastic.
I am a Precious Metal Refiner. This is the process that I use to recover Gold from Glassware. It works just as well for Iron stains. Keep those Gold Plated glass fragments that you find out digging.
