    What is this?!?

I dug this up yesterday. It's cast iron and only weights about 7lbs. It's a little under 7in. As you can see, it has one ring attached (no indication there was another)

    Knox Jar with Diamond Pattern

Hey bombboy! Well, mine is a Knox. That is the company that made it. You can see in in the picture that there is a J in the keystone, so that denotes which plant it was made at. If yours has a keystone with a letter, you can check it against the list here...

    Knox Jar with Diamond Pattern

I found this quart jar just laying in the woods. I know it's a Knox from Jackson, MS (1932-1953) It does have a flat area for a label. I just like the diamond pattern, and it does have some sickness that makes the pattern even more pretty. Anyone seen one with this pattern before?

    Armour Creameries

I have found 3 of these screw top jars so far (no lids), in a 30's-40's farm dump. The only info I've read about the company is in the form of old lawsuits. What would go in jar...sour cream? If anyone is interested...I'll gladly sell them. Thanks

    FRANS??

I know this is old, but I was doing a search cause I found one of these the other day. I couldn't read the bottom. I dug it out of a 30's-40's pit.

    Hello...New Here

Heya folks! I came across this site when doing research on some bottles I recently dug up. I was in the woods behind my house, looking for an arrow that went astray, and I came across 1 of many old farm dumps. There was an old canning jar (Knox - Jackson, MS) and an antiseptic bottle (Rexall...
