I feel i must highlight this sellers antics.
He bought a stack of Laudanum labels and is sticking them on cheap common bottles.
The bidders really shoud do a little thinking themselves...
Ive highlighted some of the more unusual bottles in the display.
1. Group of local (Leicester Infirmary) hexagonal poisons.
2. 20oz Manchester and Salford Hospital for skin diseases hexagonal.
3. 40oz DPH ( Presumed Department of Public Health) hexagonal.

Hi there.
I dug a bottle many years ago from a c.1880 site.
It is rectangular, aqua glass with
PARE. MIRACULOUS WORM KILLER. BIRMINGHAM
embossed on three sides, with label space on the fourth side.
Its about a 1oz or 2oz size.......
Somebody mentioned it could be from the US...
I have heard this type of glass/colour described as 'slag glass', i half expected this to glow under UV but it doesnt.
It does glow a fiery orange up against the sunlight though. the effect can be seen in this pic.

I believe these were just anomoles caused by the use of contaminated and/or improperly mixed (rejected) glass, maybe at the end of a shift or something ?
