    collection of old bottles

Maine, I sold it for $198.45, my PA bottle only went for $29.65. The NH bottle was a pyroglazed and the some of the pyro was pretty bad on one side. Even better...my NH bottle went home! That's right, it sold to a collector who was born and raised in the same town the bottle was from...

I am a 36 year old female, married with one daughter (a 12 year old with puberty hormones TOTALLY gone whacko, pray for strength and patience for me!!!). I have my Associate's in Accounting and used to work for a national insurance company. (LOL, like everyone else, I have had several other...

    collection of old bottles

I couldn't really tell from the pic, but NH milk bottles sell pretty well on ebay. I sold one last night for $198.45. I have seen them go for up to $900. Bitters bottles usually do very well on ebay too, do an advanced search on them on ebay and you might be surprised at what you have...

    Why, oh, why the fascination?

Bottles and lots of them...I have had them since the '70's. I have hauled them everywhere I have moved, even to Germany. Some are from old abandonded houses, and an old family dump by a creek. What is it about old bottles that catches some of us...and won't let go?

    Ezra Brooks w/ cork...worth ebaying?

TY Lovetodig. I, too have had no luck in hunting down this bottle. Harry, I assumed (LOL, and very possibly incorrectly) that is was best to leave the bottles in their "original state" as much as possible. I have had the bottles I am posting about today, since the '70's...LOL, figured...

"Krewel" bottle...what the heck is it?

The bottom has a small 2 on left, 100 in the middle, and this funny little symbol. TIA!

"Krewel" bottle...what the heck is it?

No luck searching for this bottle. The seam is odd as it runs on opposite diagonal corners...instead of opposite sides of the bottle. On the front is "Krewel" in script with the quotation marks. Any ideas? P.S. I really appreciate the ideas and help!

    Ezra Brooks w/ cork...worth ebaying?

This bottle has "fill lines" on 3 sides, 4/5 QUART on outer bottom(all 4 sides), BOTTOM: 1 and undistiguishable mark(may be 33 in a circle), CIN with BD21 underneath, 69-67 I didn't dare attempt to remove cork to clean inside of bottle! TIA!
