Mine definitely looks like a Penn Oval according to the picture. But as I stated before, the Baltimore oval had the letter B below the w. t. & co. Mine has the A and U S A.- wivrrat

Any chance anyone knows what date this might have been used. I've been researching it and I find this kind of bottle with W T & Co. but mine doesn't have the &. Also mine has a large A, where as I read they used a B for Baltimore. What would the A stand for? Also couldn't find any with USA...- wivrrat

Yea, thats one of the more interesting bottle. Including a picture of side and bottom. The letters on the bottom look to be W-G-Co on top with U S A at the bottom and the letter A in the middle. I could find some info on the w g co which could be wisconsin glass co or wormser glass co. The...- wivrrat

Recent bottles acquired at my local swap meet. The couple found these through out the low desert near Niland and Brawley, Ca. Several shoe polish, ink wells, medicine, machorcrome blt, finger nail polish, coke, soda, bromo seltzer, etc. Now I will have fun trying to ID and date. Paid $5.00...- wivrrat

I posted pictures in another post. Guess I didn't put a subject in and it went to the tail end of Richter's post. I'll repost it under new subject. The bottle is 4 1/2" tall. 2 3/4" at base and tapers to 2 1/2" at shoulder. Its 2" deep at base and tapers to 1 3/4" at shoulder. Has swirled...- wivrrat

Hopefully I will post this one correctly. This is another colbolt bottle in my mix of bottles acquired at a local swap meet in the low desert. (Niland, Ca.). Small 2" tall bottle with 8 sides. 1 1/2" round. No identifying marks. Sort of a pontil mark on bottom but I don't know for sure...- wivrrat
