Weird square necked bottle

Thanks guys, the only thing that would make it cooler is if it were colored glass. I think I'll try to track down a bottle club in London and see if they know anything about it. Sorry Cyber, we're not going to paint it :-) Dave

Hi all [:)] I acquired this 6" tall octagon shaped bottle on E-bay convinced it was a reproduction of something. I really didn't care because of the lovely puce color. But now I'm not so sure it is a reproduction of something. For one thing it has no markings whatsoever.Why reproduce...

I'm considering bidding on a double scroll historical flask on E-bay. It is supposably part of the Judge MacKenzie collection, which I have determined is valid according to some preliminary research. There actually was a Judge Mackensie and he did collect antique bottles...

Wow! That is too cool! Don't know preciseley how to advise you on this, but what little I know you probably allready know as an underwater Archeology enthusiast. Deep cold water is deplete of oxygen, so artifacts such as yours can last many years without any deterioration. But once exposed...

I acquired this beautiful amber historical flask at a swap meet in San Antonio many years ago. It's obviously either a reproduction or something maybe issued for the bicentennial of the town. The first clue is embossed on the back "American, Hand Made". I doubt it could have been something...
