    KERR ECONOMY KERR TRADEMARK

    no patent dates...beautiful lettering very crude, rough edge tops. The darker looking one is amethysist color, not to dark, the other clear, I use them for flowers,vase, candydish another of the Ball jars...

    half gallon Ball Ideal jars 2 and 7

    [8D]I figured out this picture stuff. Here are a few more pics of the two jars, half gallons and a handblown "martini"? glass. I dug it up at an old homestead. Does anyone know anything about the Ball Ideal half gallons? I am waiting for my redbook 10 now but I have a feeling they aren't in it...

    old weird mason

    This Ball I dug when I was a kid, kept it all this time. Original lid too. The Ball is so hard to get to show. It has an 8 that is partially in the circle, and a little blob just to the side on the bottom. 3 L's. This one kept potpouri in it all this time. JC

    half gallon Ball Ideal jars 2 and 7

    This is the other jar, it has an odd curve around the Ball, a line in the glass, perhaps a ghost jar? Double seams, a 7 on the bottom. I was very surprised to find out it is smokey, or charcoal color. They are both not going to have beans in them so I can see them now. JC
