Question about J&IEM Turtle INK bottle
I am possibly purchasing a J&IEM Turtle ink bottle and just wondering if anyone knows what an embossed number 8 means on the bottom of the bottle? Would like to know more about this before I buy - anyone know?? THANKS!! I have looked at these bottles before elsewhere and never saw a number...- cajonmick

Wm Schieffelin & Co Bottle
we are new to collecting - have this Wm Schieffelin & Co. established 1794, brown bottle with nice label says name & for Technical Use Only on it. size is 7" to top without the cork part and 9-1/2" diameter. Haven't opened it - seems sealed well. It appears to be a thick dark liquid...- cajonmick
