Hi. Thanks for the nice, and informative replies. I always wondered it's history. I bet it could tell some stories. I've had it for a while and always really liked the crudeness of it, and the color. I didn't really know what to do with it lately. Would this have any kind of decent value for...
Hi. I've been a member for a while, but I don't remember the site ever having this nice looking forum section all laid out like this. Not sure if it's newer, but it's nice..!! I've had this bottle for a little while, and could not find any real info on it. it's 12" tall. Semi deep purple. Says "...
Hi. I just got this large bell bottle, and cannot find any information on it. I have seen a bunch of bell bottles, some made by Wheaton, but all appear to be much smaller, and more compressed than this one. It stands 11" T x 7" W. It reads: "KLM AMERICAN CLASSIC - ORIGINAL ISSUE - SERIES NO.1 -...

That's what I thought. I'm just wondering how many people have them? Is there thousands of this bottle floating around? Is it one of those bottles people pass up everyday at a flea market, unless it's under a dollar? Is it rare? How many people on here own it, or desire it? Things like that.
I'd be hard pressed to say Clevenger, as their copies are hardly as accurate as this. The picture of 'Ole Captayne John is perfect. There is also no markings on the bottom, suggesting repro. Anybody know? Anyone? Have I stumped everyone?
Can anyone help me identify this. I got it with some other bottles. It says: CAPTAYNE JOHN SMITH - SOMETYMES GOVERNOR OF VRIGINIA. On the back side it shows a ship and says: THE GOOD SHIP SUSAN CONSTANT - AMERICA'S 350TH BORTHDAY. I have come to the conclusion that it's from 1957. Can anyone...
