I've been using this on my ACL bottles, and it works great. It has a very small amount of oxalic acid in it, so it does an especially good job on light rust stains.
Always looking for good Rhode Island bottles and Rhode Island "marked: stoneware.
RE: RUST ON BOTTLES --- My Method
I use OXALIC ACID powder. I buy it at my local hardware store, in the paint section.
It is used fro removing rust stain from surfaces prior to painting.
It comes in a one pound box similar to Arm & Hammer baking soda, and cost about $5- $6 a box
