The bottle on the left was original a paper label bottle that was printed with the acl instead of tossing the bottles out. You can compare it side by side if you have a paper label bottle to set next to it.
Hello Surfaceone,
Thanks for the info. The bottle is embossed on the bottom K.H. 305 and besides the embossing shown in the pictures it has the contents of 10 oz embossed on the heal in the back. Any ideal what it may be worth? Thanks
I see were you had it listed on E-bay for a opening bid of 175.00. I missed the listing. I will buy the bottle for the 175.00 if it is still available.
The Pepsi cola company was headquartered in Richmond from 1923 to 1931. The pinch bottle came out in 1928 to 1931. Its possible that Scotland Neck could have used a drum bottle instead of the pinch bottle design.

There actually are three different designs and seven variations of these prototype with a total of 34 bottles altogether they were made in late 1953 and early 1954. Have four variations and hoping one day to acquire the other three.

Kind of reminds me of the 100th anniversary crystal bottles that were given to executive's in this country. Did Pepsi do anything for that anniversary in England?
Hello,
The possible list came from a company flyer and Scotland neck was listed as a bottler during that time frame which is when the company main office was in Richmond. Maybe you can be the first one to turn one up.
Hello Rick,
I have 24 cities on my list which includes ones in the books and also the ones I know other collectors have. I do have a list in spread sheet form but I am new to the board and not sure if there is a way to attach a file. I can send you a copy via e-mail if you are interested...
Hello Greg,
There are actually two different pinch bottles from Corbin one with patent pending and one with the patent numbers D-80587 near base both variations are fairly hard to find.
