Has flat area on front and back for label.
They are 9-3/4 H x 4-3/4 W

I dug this up yesterday.
It's cast iron and only weights about 7lbs.
It's a little under 7in.
As you can see, it has one ring attached (no indication there was another)
I found this quart jar just laying in the woods.
I know it's a Knox from Jackson, MS (1932-1953)
It does have a flat area for a label.
I just like the diamond pattern, and it does have some sickness that makes the pattern even more pretty.
Anyone seen one with this pattern before?
I have found 3 of these screw top jars so far (no lids), in a 30's-40's farm dump.
The only info I've read about the company is in the form of old lawsuits.
What would go in jar...sour cream?

I came across this site when doing research on some bottles I recently dug up.
