Found these three old bottles in my garage that were my grandfathers. One is for "Pluto Water", one says only "American home brand - pure beverage". and the last is "National Bottling Works - N.B.W. and a Jersey address"
I have no attachment to these, so if anyone's interested??

However, I have seen similar things in modern form, intended to use to preserve partial containers of food, etc. where an almost empty container is topped over a newly opened one and allowed to drain down...
I found 4 old jars in my garage that my grandfather had and am wondering if any are worth anything.
One is completely unmarked by a brand, but has a zinc lid that says "Atlas" and is a 1/2 gallon jar, clear color.
One is a Ball Ideal quart with glass top and wire closure that says "wire...
