    pluto bottle

Well, living not far from French Lick I did some research. Apparently, Pluto Water went down the crapper in the 1970's. Why? Apparently one of it's "natural mineral" ingredients was lithium...ya know, looney bin lithium. Once the gub'ment declared lithium a controlled substance, Pluto Water...

    Insulator help

My grandfather put in 40+ years with the local power company and amassed a large collection of insulators over that time. I've got several like these three, some are unmarked, most marked "Lapp (date)". I've got one that's unmarked and about 30lbs, brown and about a foot in diameter, I'll get...

    Couple of ?soda? bottles?

Found these three old bottles in my garage that were my grandfathers. One is for "Pluto Water", one says only "American home brand - pure beverage". and the last is "National Bottling Works - N.B.W. and a Jersey address" I have no attachment to these, so if anyone's interested??

    Help with some jars

Alright, got some photos. They're in order of full jar > whatever else I took...so any photo after a full jar is of that same jar...

    Jar connector??

Maybe it's just the photo, but I can't see any seam where the two "lids" connect. However, I have seen similar things in modern form, intended to use to preserve partial containers of food, etc. where an almost empty container is topped over a newly opened one and allowed to drain down...

    Help with some jars

I found 4 old jars in my garage that my grandfather had and am wondering if any are worth anything. One is completely unmarked by a brand, but has a zinc lid that says "Atlas" and is a 1/2 gallon jar, clear color. One is a Ball Ideal quart with glass top and wire closure that says "wire...
