Metal detectors?

Your comment about the difference in the detectors is interesting.. The Whites are spoken highly of and hold their value. Can you tell me what it is about the Minelab that makes it better? I get the technical comparisons but before i trade I'd like to hear from someone who has owned both...

Owens Illinois codes in thermoset closure

I see your point, I broached the subject as it was the only branding on a fairly unique bottle. I've not encountered an Owens bottle without an O-I logo on the base and wondered if it was common.

Have you encountered discernible Owens brands in Bakelite closures under pulp/poly liner? Did you assume they were applicable to the closure and not the container?

I have a 4in clear oval, no seam, stopper closure with Corday 7 on the base. The finish is similar to prescription/druggist except for the protruding ridge encircling the flat top that evidently mates to a groove in the stopper closure. No bubbles, seems odd.Figured Corday as the toiletries...

Still no luck. Medicene, apothecary bottles of this size, vintage aren't hex and don't have restricted flow designs.. All benzocaine and the like are dropper.
