    Help on Inkwells

    I just dug up an old ink well, and it is clear in color, 2 & 1/2 "wide 2 & 3/4 ", with the seam stopping at the bottom of the neck. After cleanning, I found what apeares to be the words FORD PA on the bottpm, but it looks like it is inside the glass, I had to read it back wards from the bottom...

    round glass top

    I took that round glass top out in the sun to photograph it, and low-and behold, I found the word PRESTO on it,, so thats indeed what it is,,,, case closed,, ( clear glass here too).. thanx[:D]

    I found a flat, clear round glass top. measuring, 2 1/2" Dia. with the words in raised letters, (to open insert knife at notch ( then an arrow >>--> ) pat.re.17562 ) I know it's a top, of something, but what?? any idea anyone?

    I have in my collection, a light green colored bottle, marked F.C. STURTEVANT CO. on one side, and HARTFORD,CONN.U.S.A. on the other. Their web site does NOT show any glass bottles in their history, ( i have sent them an e-mail for info).. anyone have any Idea what era this might be from??
