ink bottle

I found this today, while pulling weeds in my garden, I thought it was an old baby foods bottle, only smaller, but after cleanning the dirt out of it, I saw an inner lip. the bottom is marked sheaffer SKRIP, and on the side, it states, this side down to fill pocket.

I am assuming that this is an ink bottle , and will look in my books to see.. I thought this was an interesting find..

I believe these are newer ink bottles used to fill fountain pens, hence the reservoir for filling them.
