Is this genuine not modern repop?

Interesting yes that's what my I was thinking either 110 or think it was GI-100 It's definitely a qt size. My book might not have it listed but it doesn't list one having a iron pontil. Hmm?

Thanks for information everyone. I figured it was legit just bit surprised had questions it being so cheap at a house sale. Here are better pics in the sun light. Definitely might be small chip at lip though but rest of bottle looks great perfect.

Is this genuine not modern repop?

Thanks I actually only paid $1. It was big open house sale towards end of the day. Lots of antique dealers there and I was leary about it being genuine because so many others overlooked it. Assuming it's real.

Is there an older privy pit in this yard???

So more then likely the 18 footer has been dipped. And could be as old as 1840's Well I am still going to get into the crawl space and take a look. Boy that would be great to find a sink hole or something down there. There might be enough room to use my 4' probe I hope. Also I will do some more...

Thanks a lot you really shared some good insight!! First of yes the home built in 71 is still here exactly as its shown on the sanborn. No additions nothing. Is there an older privy pit in this yard???

I don't know if this would help but..... It is a corner lot so yes the building to the left is up buy the street. Then also there is a street at the bottom running horizontal, you can sorta see in the 70's sanborn. Also the house that was built in the 1870s has a very small square basement...

Is there an older privy pit in this yard???

I don't know if I said that right. Ok the 1850's map I have shows a building that runs the length of the lot. If this privy went back to that time it would of had to of been inside the building. was that something people would of done? I can see it being dipped maybe that's why I found some...

Is there an older privy pit in this yard???

The pit in the picture is in fact the round brick liner. The first two feet is square concrete but then goes to round brick the rest of the way down.

Is there an older privy pit in this yard???

Pontil shards, looks like a busted eagle and scroll flask? Up date..... Found out from someone at a different site the eagle flask is a Ceredo flask made at Ceredo glass works. I was told they are fairly rare they were only in business for a short time.

Is there an older privy pit in this yard???

So I'm visiting relatives were we dug this monster 18'x6' round brick liner a while back. I never had a chance to finish sifting and filling it in. Today Im cleaning and finishing up. The house was built in 1871 but had older structures. 1850's map I have shows a building running the length of...
