Dont seem to see any stuff about em here so.... I was wondering do any of you US diggers get them over there? Id be intrested in trading common english ones for common US lids
So far I have produced a bullet stopper and my freind pulled out a ointment jar. We are off college for a week so its good fun but hard work. Im going there afterwards so wish me luck.
Long time since I posted. Ill tell you about the latest exploits though. My brother went and dug a post 1900S dump the other day and got to nice meat pots. The bizarre thing was though they were both from Southport and stuff from there is rare cos they dumped em in the sea normally. Maybe...
yep thats me. I havent had the pleasure of a proper ' dig ' yet but did have a right root around this 1920S dump. Also Im keeping my eye open in bottle shops for good stuff. Soon though i hope to go out and have my first dig.
this morning my father ( who takes intrest in my hobbie ) returned with a big cement bag full of BOTTLES. In there were three hamiltons ( torpedo not flat bottomed) two codds and lots of other nice victorian bottles. Lucky me eh?
At the minute me and my brother are focusing on this dump in between two towns and near a canal. Its all post victorian but weve had some good finds. Ill post my collection soon.
