Not sure what to make of this one. I bought it at the flea market. It glows under a black light. It's about a half gallon. Any ideas what was for? The seam stops at the finish.
What kind of ink bottle is this? It's nice and crude and full of seed bubbles. Has what feels like sand stuck in the glass on the shoulder. The seam stops at the finish on the neck. 1890s? I wasn't able to find any pictures on the internet like it.
I'm not sure what the first one is, but it has seams up to the tooled finish. The other two look like turn molds. The middle one has no seams. The one on the right has faint seams that start half way up the bottle that fade away completely.

I've started collecting crates from Texas bottlers. I used to skip the Coca Cola stuff, but now I buy it if it's marked Texas somewhere on it. The aluminum crate is marked San An TX. The return rack was made by Kasper Wire Works from Shiner, Texas. The Matthew's Beverages was a San Antonio...
I collect local bottle openers. This one is my favorite. It's from the M. Castanola and Son wine and liquor store in San Antonio, Texas.

A local South Texas historic asked if I knew what this was. I haven't a clue. I bet someone here knows.

Is there a way to date this bottle? It has pronounced seams that become faint about a half inch underneath the tooled finish. It has a root twice on the bottom. One maker marks is a ghost. Also, what do these go for?

I've been searching out in East Texas, and inevitability I'm finding Louisiana bottles and other stuff. I'm not sure what they're worth.
Two Hutchison bottles are New Hope Manufacturing Company Limited of New Orleans. Another is Consumers Seltzer & Mineral Water Manufacturing Company Limited...
Anyone know what kind of jar this is? It's twenty ounces and measures 6 1/2 by 2 1/4 inches. It's embossed on the bottom 3046 and a illegible mark that looks like an x.
When was this made? It is marked with the Obear-Nester Glass Company mark. It has seams that stop at the shoulder ring.

I don't know much about this one. I would like to know where it's from and when it was made.
It looks like it's made of a very finely milled stonewear. Or it could be made of a poor quality porcelain. I'm guessing it's a brandy bottle because of the finish.

I found this in an old 1880s field painting box. The oil paint tubes and porcelain palette inside it also date from the mid to late 1800s.
The bottle has a seam that stops at the shoulder. The label says Closson's and Cincinnati. Closson's Gallerey was opened in 1866.
I would like to know...
Found another mystery. It's SCA and measures a little over 4" wide by 3 1/2" tall. Also, what kind of pontil mark does it have? [attachment=14002035723800.jpg][attachment=14002035860511.jpg][attachment=14002036480192.jpg]
I have a one liter beer bottle embossed Jung Cincinnati on the shoulder and The Jung Brewing Co. at the base. It has a partialy intact lable from the Consolidated Cider and Vingar Company for Uncle Josh Brand Vinegar on it. Was it reused and relabled? Also what is it worth? Ten bucks or so?
I haven't found any information on this bottle. It has Argonaut Rec'd on both sides and is about 4 1/2 inches tall. Thanks for any information about it.
