I collect local bottle openers. This one is my favorite. It's from the M. Castanola and Son wine and liquor store in San Antonio, Texas.

Very nice. I collect them if I find them, about like anything old that I come across.

Hello Jason, try website called Just for Openers or another called The Bull Works. As for your Cooks opener, the brand originated from my home town of Evansville, IN. I knew they had distributed to the deep south but did not realize they had ventured that far west. If your opener should ever need a new home I would welcome it to reside in Southern Indiana .
Regards,
Tim

I think I have forty or fifty in a box some where out in the garage . Have had them for years . No real goods among them I don't think . Something I thought I had to buy when I would see them years back . Care little about them anymore .

Thanks. The Bull Works site is new to me. I recently joined JFO. I noticed this exact one is unlisted. If I ever decide to sell it I will keep you in mind. For now it's one for my collection. I rarely find pre prohibition openers from South Texas. When I bought it, I thought this one was a Mid West opener, and the name on it was a distributer, wholesaler, or liquor mail order house that sold Cook's Beer.

The Rail Road one sounds neat. I've never seen one before. I have or have had ones from bars, hotels, and liquor wholesalers.
