Monroe La. Straight side coke !

The bottles are in fair condition, not amazing condition, but you can distinctly tell what they are. I do still want the Monroe Coke one, but since the Biedenharn bottle is from across the river, I would be more likely to get rid of it. I can't figure out how to post photos directly, so I...

Monroe La. Straight side coke !

Alright guys, I know this thread has somewhat died off, but I came across a straight-sided Coke bottle from Monroe, LA at an antique shop in Vicksburg, MS. It's the same exact style as the one posted on the first page, with Property of Ouachita Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Monroe LA, but where is the...

    Gono.com a no-go?

I tried to access the gono.com website for looking up soda bottle information, and it seems to be a dead link. Was active about a month ago, but down since. Anyone else have some information on the site, or maybe an alternative site which has the same info?

Coke bottle - bid only because it looked old!

Lucky me! The bottle is the D-patent bottle (a good starting point for bottles, to get the base of cities, then moving up to Christmas cokes and 1915 Cokes), but in AMAZING condition. Will be posting pictures shortly.

Coke bottle - bid only because it looked old!

Is rare harder to find than scarce? Hate to ask, but different websites give different answers.

Coke bottle - bid only because it looked old!

If I could only get a better view... either way, D patent, 1915, or 1923, it's still a unique bottle from a small town.

Coke bottle - bid only because it looked old!

I bought a Coke bottle on eBay - no information other than the fact that it is embossed with big letters on the bottom. It says "Water Valley" around the bottom, with MISS sideways. I'll post a link to the bottle below. Could anyone tell me how old the bottle might be based on the city? I know...

    Louisiana collection!

ACL Cokes are something that, I think, will be worth something someday, when we marvel at the 64oz Coke bottles, compared to the bland 67-oz 2L Cokes. What surprises me on the ACL Cokes are that the bottles may, or may not, have the city on the bottom. Any other ACL bottles usually have the city...

    Louisiana collection!

Squirt is found in the Mexican bottles here and there, and I do prefer it more than Mountain Dew... we have Mexican Squirt but I can't even find regular Squirt in cans or plastic bottles. I'm not seeking just Coca-Cola, but that's the one type of bottle I avoided until my collection grew enough...

    Louisiana collection!

ACLs really, but I do know that a few bottles can't be found in anything BUT embossed. I try to avoid New Orleans as well, but any Coca-Cola embossed from smaller towns would be nice! Here's a list of my current cities that I have:Alexandria, Baton Rouge, Bogalusa, Bunkie, Deridder, Eunice...

    Ah, sorry, Wichita Falls Texas

    Louisiana collection!

Thanks! I did run across a Wichita Falls Coca-Cola bottle, embossed, for $3 at the local flea market. Dated mid-50's, has the "Trademark Registered in US Patent Office". Does anyone have an idea on the worth, without paying for a book?

    Louisiana collection!

Thanks! I found out that Morgan City had a Nehi bottling plant, and West Monroe had both Nehi and 7up.

Online lists of bottlers, by states

I was noticing that most lists online of different bottlers are incomplete. For example, I'm staring right at an old yearbook ad of the Dr Pepper Bottling Company, Glenmora, LA - dated 1967. Looking online, no mention is made of the Dr Pepper plant in Glenmora. Does anyone else have a link to a...

    Louisiana collection!

Ahh, my grandpa said that Winnfield had an ice plant that would sell Coca-Cola, not distribute it. Now, Colfax, that would be perfect!

    Louisiana collection!

Hi, new to the forum! I'm collecting stuff from my own state, and although I have one bottle that has eluded me for a while, there are a few others I would love to have. I'm looking for a Dr Pepper bottle from either Glenmora or Alexandria, Louisiana, and a Coke bottle from Winnfield, LA. I'd...
