Do these soil samples tell you anything useful?
Disclaimer: I've never dug a privy, only trash pits and treasures while metal detecting. I've read that you should be looking for layers of soil and ash. Dark green 13" wine bottle with punt, bordeaux?
Just curious if anyone knows the age of this or the maker. There are no marks on it.The bottle measures 13 1/4" high and 3 1/2" across the base and was found in an old house next to a 55 gallon metal drum full of an unknown liquid (as of yet).
