    Armour beef extract jar

    One of my students found this (pictured) Armour Beef extract jar. We read that Armour was the largest meat packing company in 1891. The jar we found was about 2.5 inches tall and was in perfect shape. Could it actually have been one of the jars used before 1900? Thanks, Jamie Kamlet
