Once again, as with most of the bottles in my collection, this piece was picked up by my father, while skin diving in Cuba. Has "ERVEN LUCAS BOES HET LOOTSJE AMSTERDAM." on the side. Is 12" high by 3 1/2"diameter. Obviously a stoneware jug from Amsterdam, but how old is it and what was it...

    "CAMEL JUG???"

Another one of Dad's bottles. Got it at a flea market many moons ago. The guy he bought it from said it was a "camel jug," used on long caravans. It has an indented bottom. Can anybody verify this? It's a beautiful piece. Gigster

    MADE IN FRANCE

Here's a pretty little thing. I think it says "Made in France." on bottom. has tiny little glass dauber mounted in lid. I would assume it is a 'parfum' bottle. Can someone date it. Thanks, Gigster

    Newbie with question!

Hello out there! This looks like a fantastic site. I was not a collector untill recently when my father began giving me a lot of old things that he'd forgotten he had. Amongst the things were a number of bottles. For the most part he didn't know much about them, other than where he got...
