Once again, as with most of the bottles in my collection, this piece was picked up by my father, while skin diving in Cuba. Has "ERVEN LUCAS BOES HET LOOTSJE AMSTERDAM." on the side. Is 12" high by 3 1/2"diameter. Obviously a stoneware jug from Amsterdam, but how old is it and what was it...
Another one of Dad's bottles. Got it at a flea market many moons ago. The guy he bought it from said it was a "camel jug," used on long caravans. It has an indented bottom. Can anybody verify this? It's a beautiful piece. Gigster
Here's a nice perfume bottle. Found it in my Grandmother's things after she died. Know nothing about it; says: W B Co. on bottom. Any idea how old, and who W. B. Co. is?
Here's a pretty little thing. I think it says "Made in France." on bottom. has tiny little glass dauber mounted in lid. I would assume it is a 'parfum' bottle. Can someone date it. Thanks, Gigster
