I saw all the response to my earlier post, so i thought we should all start a marble thread. Just post pictures and questions, I've noticed we have some pretty inteligent marble people here. Post pictures of your most prized marbles.

Wow, thanks for all the posts. I dont really know how you measure it but it looks about 3/4 inch, definitly bigger than 1/2 inch. Also, the "eye" actually kind of sticks out and there is only one on the whole marble. Wouldn't there usually be 2, unless it's an endpiece?

In my local antique store there is a historical flask, (I think), with George Washington on the front with the words General Washington in a sort of arch around him, and on the back is an eagle. The bottle is green and has NO pontil mark. Do all historical flasks have pontil marks, and if so...
If your thinking of buying a detector for things like this, a White's might be too much. It can be hard to understand at times and doesnt work very well in iron. You'd probly be better off with something simple and cheap like a bounty hunter, or just something like this...

Went digging at the usual spot and found this keeper. I would love any information I could get about this bottle or what it is worth.
