I was looking for some info on bottle molds online. I came across this bottle manufacturer in China. They had an 'ANTIQUE' page so I thought I would look and see what they can make. I was surprised to see the photos of what they can manufacture. One is a rare Coca-Cola Hutch from Brunswick, GA...
Two things have happened recently that helped me decide to sell some of my collection: Ran out of room on my shelves AND currently out of a job. I'll be listing some bottles from my collection. Check out the link below to see what I've got. I will list more as I come across bottles I decide to...
While searching the web today I came across this article by accident. A very interesting read on the history of Laurens Glass Works. So, if you are tired of reading about Ahab the Arab on the forum.....here is something completely different.
Read it HERE
Sorry I couldn't take the link...
A friend came across this Coca-Cola 10 ounce bottle returnable bottle with a screw cap. We noticed it was date coded 69 (1969) and the screw cap returnable Coke bottle did not come out officially until 1970.
I was reading a magazine article from 1975 on Dr Pepper. It mentions a Dr Pepper imitator called Texas Stepper. I had never heard of it. The article said that Coca-Cola had something to do with Texas Stepper. I can't find anything out about it.
Has anyone heard of it, seen a bottle, can or...
I had never seen one like this before: Measures about 12 by 18 by 4.5 inches. Aluminum with a masonite type material for the bottom. has a wooden cross brace inside to hold 4 6 packs. PEPSI-COLA is cut out on both sides. Can't find a manufacturer name or date of any kind on the crate. Asking $65...
Well, it is time to start selling off some of my collection. Don't want to, but have to.
First up is some Liter Mountain Dew bottles.
Half Liter, 1 Liter and 2 Liter.
All 3 for $75 plus shipping.
I need help finding an 8 Sided Pepsi from Richmond, VA. Looks like the Taka Kola 8 sided bottle. There is one currently on ebay, but a litle too high for me to afford. Looking to make a display using the Taka Kola bottles and the Pepsi bottle.
Let me know if you have one to sell.
Thanks!
I just heard that John 'Digger' Odell has passed away. He did a lot for bottle collecting and wrote several great reference books. I met him at a bottle show a few years ago. A great guy. Here is a little info:

I found these No Deposit ACL's recently. One Sprite is a plastic coated version. The Tab I like the best. Hadn't seen one like it. They were all nice, clean with the ACL in great shape.
Recently someone brought me a box of bottles. Most of them were either trash or common bottles. I thought this 7 Up was a common 32 ounce. When I really looked at it I saw it was a 36 ounce. I know the 36 ounce size of Coca-Cola and Pepsi were only used in South Carolina. Was this 7 Up only...
The Coca-Cola Archives has set up a website for a virtual tour of the basment of the Coca-Cola Company headquarters. And what a tour! I hung out on the bottle aisle for a long time, seeing a lot of GREAT stuff, like the amber Fresca with sugar bottle I can't find!
Check it out, amazing signs...
