Thanks Mark. To me it really does have alot of character. When I first washed it off it looked like it had cracks all through it, but it turned out they were all whittle marks.
All I have to say is. Lindseys Blood Searcher, Hollidaysburg, Pa.
Nice, Gorgeous,Beautiful Deep Emerald Green Panel Shard
I wish to hell I would have at least kept it to show you. I left it lay without thinking I would want to look at that glass again. That bottle is worth over a grand, it...
And one more. This is a cool bottle. Lots of whittle marks, bubbles, and the neck has a bulge near the top.And in the back, where it says 28oz, the s in contents is backwards.
Hey Caldigs. I thought of doing that too, but just make sure you use a deep cycle marine battery, car batteries will die fast. A marine battery will last all night. That would really light up the bottom of a privy!
Rick, that Allentown squat makes me wanna squat my pants. As soon as I dig my first cobalt blob soda I will probably have to change myself. That is an absolutely beautiful bottle man, great finds. Is there any bottle shows down your way this year? I was just through your valley on a business trip...
Hello everyone, my name is Chris and I am from Perry County PA. I just now got high speed so I am back on the forums again. I was wondering if there are any bottle clubs here in PA that any of you go to?
Mike, those finds are incredible. Those are the kind of digs I would like to hit every time. I love the hutches and the blobs, they are my favorite. Great pictures!!
Those jars sure cleaned up nice Steve. I have actually used quite a few of my more common blue jars that I have dug to put canned food into out of my garden. It kinda makes you feel nice to know you have dug them and put some back to use after 50 or so years.
Thats a pretty good deal Tony. I usually pay about the same for blob beers and sodas in my area. Now if it is a local company, then the price climbs through the roof. Nice bottle!
I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holiday and a great New Year.. May this New Year bring many digs, many more bottles and most of all, great health.
