Thanks Ryan, the mine that we dig at was opened till I think the late 60's , so that 's great... I'm still in my 1900 - 1970 range...

What would be the 'holy grail' of bottle finds?

I have 7 cobolt blue bottles; 1- 4 in. Bromo-seltzer....Emerson Drug Co. Baltimore,MD 1- 3 in. bottle with a glass dropper still in it... has 5 elongatted ribs vertically down the front and 2 on each side...it hsa 1 oz. on the front... it has a ringed neck for a screw top... 2- 2 in. 1 is...

"Rocking Bottle"

Thanks, a friend of my sons found it in an old barn. He knew that I collected so he gave it to me. Lucky me huh... The next time that I take pics I send one in...

What a Find..

Thank you, this was found in a storage shed that I cleaned out for my father-in-law... Yes it is on a very strong test wire it looks like... The clasp is the thing that fasinates me.. It is made out of brass, and its so thin... The reason why I kept it is because its my birthstone...

"1951 Find"

[:D] Thanks , I went to pepsi in AOL search and and followed the sight to coke. My bottle has a # on it that says D-105529 when I went to that sight it said that this bottle was made from 1948-1951, for the 6 oz. 1951-1958 for the 6.5 oz. and the 12 oz. was, I think 1970's

"Rocking Bottle"

Thank you for your reply, I don't have a picture of it yet, the bottom curved like a rocking chair leg , so it can rock from side to side if nudged.. kinda like a music penduelum.

"1951 Find"

This bottle was found in our digging spot, which is an old mining dump. most of the glassware is shattered in pieces and melted from them burning the sight, but once in a while we can find something like this...
